A. Benefits
The Investor Forum: Powered by DLA Piper and SVForum provides exposure for up to 12 selected technology companies to make targeted connections in Silicon Valley.
What You Get - The Deliverables
As a Forum company, you will receive:
- One hour of coaching and feedback on content and structure of pitch
- Standardized template for Executive one page
- Introductions to VCs investing in your space
- Your 50-word company description and one-page Executive Summary in the printed program for the event.
B. Details
Date, Time & Place
Investor Forum: Powered by DLA Piper and SVForum will be held in late February from 8:00am - 11:30am, in the mid-penninsula area. (We will provide the exact date and location to all selected companies.)
Investor Forum
At the special by-invitation-only VC Preview, roughly 50+ venture and angel investors will take part in the company pitch session.
C. Requirements: Eligibility
Are You Eligible to Participate in the Investor Forum?
To participate in the Investor Forum: Powered by DLA Piper and SVForum, you MUST meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Be a current SVForum member
- Represent a technology company
- Be actively seeking investment capital
- Have a product or service ready for demonstration by the application deadline.
Participation in the Investor Forum: Powered by DLA Piper and SVForum is limited to two forums.
Participations must be an active SVForum Individual or Start-up Member at the time of application.

The application deadline is January 25th, 2012.
How Can You Apply to Participate in an Investor Forum: Powered by DLA Piper and SVForum?
Provided you meet all the eligibility criteria above (in Section C), you will be a valid candidate for selection. All companies that apply will receive an email response regarding selection status by mid February 2012.
Send your request to participate in the Investor Forum to startups@svforum.org, by January 25th. We will confirm receipt with an email -- if you do not receive an email, please email Kim(at)SVForum.org.
In the body of the email, please INCLUDE ALL of the following information:
- Your company name
- Contact name
- Business description (50 words or less) that will be included in the printed program
- Email address
- Company URL
- Telephone number
- Mailing address
- Attach a ONE page executive summary, using the supplied template

We will only review the first page, so be sure to keep it to one page only. Your summary must include the following information: Problem/Solution, Market, Competitive Landscape, Business Model, Management Team and Traction-to-Date.
